So I'm back from my break from my short break from the Eastpack shoot and I must say that I am really thankful that I took that break. The party in Nashville with Bloc Party was really great. I had an awesome time. We also got alot of work done for the next Heist party which is going to take place in NYC during CMJ.
The day I flew back from Nashville, I had to do a shoot for Neff Headwear in Santa Ana. I'm really lucky to have a brother that is really understanding and helps me out when I am in some pretty stressful situations.


Anyway, like I was saying I'm pretty glad about takeing that break from the Eastpack stuff. I
was really stressed out about alot of stuff, but now I think the shooting has become alot more enjoyable. We just recently got in a pretty amazing model on the shoot that is really bring out some great images from me I'm really use to it being the other way around. Special thanks to Larissa you seriously hooked it up.

I'm full of sushi, and for once, pretty content, kind of weird for me. I honestly feel pretty awesome, and it totally is freaking me out.

GO TO THIS ART SHOW TONITE! It's gonna rule. It's at the New Image Art Gallery. There is a ton of great artists in it, but I am really excited to see the new works by Matt Leines, Matt Furie, and Taylor McKimens.

So I've decided to take some time off of the Eastpack project to clear my head and to work on some other things. I really think this will help my figure things out. I really enjoy all the challenges that this one is bringing to me. I've never really had to do anything like this, and I think that this will really help me prepare and get my mind straight for any future projects that I have coming up.

Yesterday I was able to catch up with the Gym Class Heroes over at Street scene in San Diego. The show was so crazy. There were so many people there. It was pretty awe inspiring.

Today was really fun. I was able to chill with Jonas and the boys from LRG and Monster Cable and do a photoshoot for the new LRG X Monster Cable Apple iphone cases. I really enjoy being with all those guys, we always have a good time when we hang out and Jonas is a really great host.

Well, tomorrow I am on the first flight out to Nashville to do an event with Adrian and the Heist Party crew. I have known Adrian for quite sometime and he really knows how to throw a great party. So when he asked me to do this one I was totally down. Every trip I've taken out to Nashville has given me a great time. This time around the guys in Bloc Party will be djing, so I figured why not.

My buddy John, just sent me this pic from the other nite at the Sounds After party, this is probably the last photo of me that will be posted on here of me hanging out for a while, because I've
started shooting for the Eastpack Europe campaign and it's really proving to be one of the more difficult shoots I've been on. Working with the art direction on this project has defiantly been an interesting ordeal for me and I will be spending much more time then anticipated on this project, but I defiantly think it's going to be a great one.

THEY WON! it was amazing, The Gym Class Heroes won for the MTV Music Award for best new artist, so rad! I am so glad that I went out for the event. I can't believe it. I really don't know a better group of more deserving guys to have won. I feel so lucky to have been apart of the event.

Well, here it is, tonite is the nite. The big music awards. I am so nervous for the guys in the Gym Class Heroes. I got a pretty rad suit to wear to the awards, I am so excited. I'm pretty bummed that the suite is over, I liked being able to just sit somewhere, and to have everyone come and see me. Here is a pic of me and my homie, the original K-Town Hustler, Ben Baller, chill'in up in the suite, working on the plans for my grill.

Well, I was pretty amazed today, by the reaction that we received in the Complex/LRG suite here in Vegas. Tons of other people have been having things going one, but I heard that the spot here in the Wynn was easily the best one. I actually kind of feel bad for all the other parties, because tons of people apparently have been leaving to check out our spot. What is really cool for me, is the fact that the latest issue of Complex Magazine just came out with a four page LRG spread in it that I shot. So cool! I had not idea that it was coming out till Derek from the Bum Squad Dj's showed it to me. So crazy.

Well, I am off to the MTV Video Music awards in Vegas to do some work for Creative Recreation, and to root for my boys, the Gym Class Heroes, the are up for two awards. I'll be there for almost a week, hopefully I'll make it back in one piece. They are a really amazing band, and I really hope they win.

My friend Aaron Rose directed this really fantastic movie called Beautiful Losers , and they are doing a secret screen tonite in Buena Park. I really wish I could go, but I have ton of stuff to get to. It is a really gorgeous and touching film. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Tomorrow, American Rag in Fashion Island is having a special acoustic performance by Matt Costa hosted by RVCA that I'll be shooting for them, I haven't done anything for RVCA for a while, so this will be pretty exciting for me. I also actually shot the photo that they are using for the flyer for this party which is pretty cool.

So I just got back from Magic and now I am in Ventura taking care a a photoshoot for Neff Headware. I recently shot this for them in Salt Lake City for an ad featuring Justin Benee and Stevie Bell. That should be running in some snowboarding mags now. Now Magic is over, everyone is off taking care of things last minute for the ASR and Agenda shows in San Diego. I'm actually a little up set that I won't be able to make it down to that show, because Pony and BPM are going to be throwing a pretty insane party whats even cooler is that the flyer for the party has a photo that I shot on it of my sneakers!

Anyway the Neff shoot is going really really well, despite the fact that it is totally last minute. and I have to get this all ready a prepped to be printed tomorrow. I am really cutting it close on this one. But regardless of all this, I am really excited about this one. the stuff looks really good.



I also got to shoot with Terry Kennedy which was really cool. I had tons of ideas that he was really receptive with, which is really cool, because alot of times, I'll work with people that don't really care about what I am doing, they just want to get in and get out. Terry actually wanted to be involved with the process, and was actually early to the shoot which is a real rarity, especially with pro skaters.
