So once again, my boys Datarock are taking over the Detroit Bar, in Costa Mesa. This is going to be pretty sweet, I just saw them out in San Fran, for a pretty amazing set that Kat from Levis unfortunately missed (I'm rubbing it in right now, because I really wanted her to check out their set). Anyway its going to be awesome, I heard they are getting a limo and everything to drive them from their gig at the Henry Fonda with LadyTron, Such rockstars.

But before you roll over to the bar, head over to RVCA to check out this little surf flick my pal Alex Knost is in called Tales from the Black Van, I'm going to fly home especially for this one, it should be pretty rad.

So things are getting cooler and cooler with those photos that I did for Bun B. I knew that he used one of the photos on a bus wrap for he tour, but I didn't think they were going to use it in his music video. So sweet. I know its only in there for a second but still I think its pretty cool, I never thought I would ever be shooting covers for hip hop records, so to get all this is a pretty awesome bonus, thanks Byrone for pointing it out. its like 2 minutes and 30 seconds in

This is one of my most recent ads I did for Skullcandy with Christian Hosoi. I've seen it all over the place I'm pretty happy that the Skullcandy guys have been really pushing it. Its crazy to see the same ad in mags over and over again. I'm pretty use to getting my work out there in the mags and all that, but its crazy to see them using the same image again and again, especially when I know they have other stuff coming in. Its just cool to know they like my stuff that much.

So after my last post about Coachella, I found a bunch of other pics from SXSW that I totally forgot to post earlier. It kind of sucks that these are all kind of old news, but oh well I guess, its better than nothing I suppose. SXSW was pretty cool, I wasn't really able to see that many "new" cool bands. I mainly saw a bunch of more established acts which kind of sucks and takes away from the discovering new bands aspect of SXSW, but i guess thats what you get when you go to these things for work. It was pretty cool to be able to see Pharrell Williams and N.E.R.D. a couple of times. I got to meet up and hang out with a ton of artists here are a couple that I found on this camera, A-track, David Banner, and Del the Funky Homosapien.

This post is long over due, and the only excuse I have is the same one that I use all the time, and that is, that I am super busy. But hopefully I'll be on it more. Things are super hectic, but things will be in order soon, and I assure you its worth it. Here are a couple of pics from Coachella. For once, I was pretty excited that I was there mostly for work, but also for fun. Most of the time, its all work. So its kind of cool that I had some down time. Anyway I headed out there With Brad from Skullcandy, as well as my buddy Justin from the show Yo Gabba Gabba!, and of course Y.O.O.K.S. To be honset with you. I see live bands all the time, so festivals arn't really my thing, but knowing that Datarock is going to be out there changes everything. Those guys are pretty much the coolest and I try and spend as much time with them as I can . Justin is pals with Elijah Wood, so he hung out for the set and apparently really enjoyed it. Here is another pic of us, this time with the Datarock guys, that Y.O.O.K.s took , but I think he was more concered with taking pics of Arab Parrot so he wouldn't write bad stuff about him on his blog. It's actually a pretty funny pic. Anyway hopefully one of these days I'll be able to head out to Norway with those guys, they are pretty awesome. Anyway, I spent most of my time at the BPM house, because it was ridiculously hot out there and I would rather spend my days hanging out pool side gawking at chicks in bikinis getting wasted on all the free booze, then melting away in the sun watching a bunch of bands that I have seen a bunch of times already. Most of the good acts play in the evening anyway, well the acts that I like or the ones I haven't seen already. Anyway, Coachella was pretty rad, well, what I can remember, and now I am going to spend the rest of the week recovering.

So our Mykal my pal over at Fake Rich made these a while back and being the lazy bumm I am I never made a post about it now. Anyway, he made these very limited edition color way headphones with Skullcandy. They are pretty sweet, and everytime I am out and his Djs are wearing these, all people keep asking me is when they are coming out. Well, my answer is , never! these are limited edition and sweet, now all I need to do is to get my hands on a pair.

So lately I have been pretty terrible at keeping up with updates on my site, but it really is worth the abuse, let me tell you. I have so pretty crazy things going on over here. But till I have a better grasp on how to convey all the craziness, I can't tell. So instead, here is the cover of the latest Ozone magazine that I did. I had no idea this was out till someone pointed it out to me. I really need to keep up with these things.
