Here's another shot that I did for the Skullcandy Victoria Asher shoot. This was my favorite of all the set ups and I really loved this color way of her dress by Vin and Omi that they made for the shoot. He's a quick video that my buddy Royce put together for the shoot. I think its pretty funny that everytime I see one of these videos I'm wearing a wifebeater, one of these days I'm going to have to get a wardrobe stylist or something for me!

Here's a video I just stumbled upon that I did with Danny Kass a little while ago, I have no idea when this video dropped, but this was a pretty awesome day, because not only did we have a great shoot, but we also came up on some pretty sweet stuff from the shop including some bush wings! (here's the link, I would embed it into my blog, but it starts automatically, which I think is kinda annoying)

I recently took a trip out to Cleveland Ohio for two reasons, one to try and see if I could try and start up a reenactment troop that would do scenes from the movie Major League, the other was to shoot the winner of the Skullcandy model search contest. Needless to say I failed miserably at the first, but I believe I did splendidly with the latter. The winner of the contest was a charming gal named Miranda Smoot, honestly she wouldn't have been my first choice in babe, but she won me over quite fast and had a great time. I also had a really fantastic stylist out there, named Mia, that was a total babe (hopefully she doesn't read this because that would be rather embarrassing, and her husband would be probably bummed on me for saying so) Anyway here's a video of the shoot you can take a gander at.

Heres a photo that I did out on a recent trip to NYC with friend and mega-babe Victoria Asher from Cobra Starship. There's actually another image in this series that's pretty unreal, its probably one of my favorite images that I've shot recently. Everyone on this shoot was really great, I have to thank Alice for really coming through on this one, and Vin and Omi for some pretty amazing wardrobe, and of course for Victoria, for well, um... for being hot.

Well, its pretty unreal the news that was just bestowed upon me. My buddy Mike Relm that I photographed for Skullcandy was recently asked by Director Jon Favreau and Paramount Pictures to do and official version of his Iron Man 2 remix! He's always working on some next level stuff, but this really goes above and beyond, I really loved the first movie, and well, I know its pretty rare, but I think the sequel will be even better. I'm pretty proud of Mike, and I'm sure this is going to lead to some pretty awesome things for him, I'll have to get him a congratulatory bowl of pho next time I see him!

I am really not good with keeping up with the stuff I do. I pretty much just shoot as much as I can, try and get everything out on time. I'm so busy, that I don't even realize where all of it goes to. I know these have been out for a while, but while perusing the interweb I stumbled upon them today. So I figured better late than never to put them up here.
Here are two photos I shot of the Gudauskas Brothers, minus Dan, who I think was out of the country doing big things! We shot a bulk of this stuff at the HardRock Hotel in Las Vegas which is a pretty sweet location. I believe I'm actually going to be able to shoot there, quite a bit in the coming months, my only wish is that it wasn't in vegas, because I kinda loathe that place.

One of the more exciting projects that I have been given this year to work on is the new Mixmaster headphone release for Skullcandy. Mike is a pretty remarkable artist and the headphone is really incredible. I had alot of fun getting together with him for this shoot, and we actually have quite a few more shoots to get together for so keep on the look out for that. One of the perks of shooting with him, is that he also puts on a show for you at the same time, and here are just a few of Mike's tidbits from the shoot , more to come!

Didn't have to travel too far for this one, drove down to San Clemente and hooked up with surfer Kolohe Andino, and a bunch of the Skullcandy crew to jam out a few photos for an ad that should be out in the mags now. Here's a little behind the scenes interview that the skullcandy crew put together. Hopefully I don't look too ridiculous in this one.

Here's a pic I shot recently in venice beach with DJ Drez before he took off on his european tour. I hadn't met him until this day and I was really glad that I did, he's a really cool and sweet guy, and I look forward to hearing what else he has going on.

Favors from time to time are good things to have in your back pocket and well I think my buddy Jimbo Morgan was happy he had one to spare that I owed him. Jimbo recently asked me to shoot some of his Ski team for Skullcandy and well the way favors work, is regardless of if I want to I gotta do what I gotta do. Jimbo being the guy he is though never really makes me do anything I don't want to, and I know he know that I get along with his team just fine.
Anyway, here is Sammy Carlson in a pair of skullcrushers, showing off his love for fireworks and Skullcandy. Fortunately for everyone involved with this one I actually keep a fairly well stocked armory of firearms and fireworks, for you know... "just in case situations".

I can't think of any Australian's that I don't like, I am a bit terrified by their women I must admit, but thats because they can party like none other, but aside from that I like them all, and Insight pro surfer Kai Otton is no different. I was shooting Kai for an upcoming Skullcandy ad for the new Agent Headphone. I have learned quite a bit about the land down under by those fine fine culturalists Jermaine and Brett of the Flight of the concords such as "Australians like to name their women after men, revel in their convect past, and don't mind a cup a tea brewed in hot tap water". but I won't hold that against Kai.

Today's shoot really couldn't have been better, quick, easy, great results, and on top of doing a good shoot, I managed to get myself a fresh pair of new sneakers as well. Today in studio, we had Rockstar energy drink, Nike 6.0, Skullcandy, and Oakley, ski athlete Sammy Carlson. This gig was set up by my old pal Jimbo Morgan who has been a huge advocate and it was about time that I could return the favor for him and shoot one of his athletes. There isn't too many people that are better on the slopes than Sammy, and he's got his new movie "Can't Stop" coming out soon to prove it. I'll post up the finished picks up here as soon as I can.

My friends over at Skullcandy just sent me this today! They are having some pretty rad events down in my hood. I can't believe they got Del Tha Funky Homosapien to do it, thats so nuts. He's pretty awesome. I remember when we all met up with him for the first time at SXSW a few years back. Anyway, the show is going to be pretty nuts, and on top of Del being there, my buddy DJ Slipmatt is going to be spinning as well, so that will be pretty dope.

The other nite I was able to hook up with my buddies Chad Petree and Jeremy Dawson who are in this band called the Shiny Toy Guns. Chad's a pretty big fan of Skullcandy and actually recorded their latest record Season of Poison with the Sk Pros. So it was pretty cool to kick it with them and hear thier anecdotes and all that. As you can see, Chad's talents go beyond just his musical abilites, but he's got a pretty incredible sense of fasion as well.

I recently shot some new photos for Skullcandy featuring artist OG Abel for his new headphone coming out with those guys. I haven't seen the actual ad mockups yet, but I know they are going to be pretty awesome. This ad actually features his new skullcrusher headphone with his money rose design all over it. I was over at The Skullcandy launch party for their partnership with At&t over at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles and I saw this out in front with got me pretty excited. Seeing stuff printed big is always pretty awesome. I've done a number of billboards now and I never get over stuff like that and this wasn't even that big. Anyway i've got to now go hit up the guys at skullcandy to send me over the ad mockups, because they got me really excited!

I wish I read more magazines, so I would know when new photos that I worked on were out. I bunch of people recently called me to congratulate me on my new Snoop Dogg ads and I had no idea they were out. There are going to be a bunch of other athletes and artists that are in this campaign that I shot its going to be a pretty awesome once they are all out! I really need to subscribe to more magazines.

This was pretty random, but I was over in Lake Tahoe doing some work for Mountain Dew for their final stop on the Dew Tour with my friend and long time collaborator, Ray Young Chu. We got a rental car (which cost us way too much money) But had no music to listen to, when I happened to remember that I happened to have a cd from J.Period in my bag. Anyway when I got home today from the trip, I hopped on to myspace and happened to see a photo that seemed oddly familier. Anyway it took me a moment, then I actually read the tagline, and it was J.Period. It was pretty cool to see one of my photos on
the front page of myspace.J.Period's new mix tape The Best of Q-Tip is pretty rediculous, and I am glad to see that its getting a fair amount of promotion. One thing that I do feel bad for is that I totally lag sometime. J.Period for some reason always has the worst luck when it comes to hitting me up about photos. We did a shoot together a while ago for the new Tony Hawk video game and Skullcandy and I got all the photos out for the releases, but I for some reason just lagged at getting them to him. Sometimes I really suck.
