back and I saw this spray painted on a building and for some reason, call it coincidence, or foreshadowing of some sort, I kept it on my desktop.One of the perks of this job is that I get to work with alot of artists and people I respect. Most of the time, they come in, we bang out some shots, and thats that. I was asked recently to asked to shoot Raekwon from the Wu-Tang clan and I expected it to be exactly that, but it wasn't.
This was actually one of the more fun shoots I have had recently. Raekwon was actually really enjoyable to be around and everyone was in high spirits. I really think once we are done with these I'll have some really great images.
I dunno what I was thinking at the time, but I am really glad that I called in Y.O.O.K.s and had him dj, during the shoot. Rae actully did a little free styling for us, as well as let us preview his new mix tape.
I do find it funny that we probably had more vistiors to this shoot that pretty much any other shoot we've had lately, and on top of that pretty much everyone working the shoot was way early, instead of the usual 15 to 45 minute delay. Anyway the stuff is great, it should be out in the next month or so, hopefully I'll be able to get more of the Wu-Tang crew here
